Coastal Palms Inn & Suites - Ocean City

Should have taken heed to other postings. The hotel was in serious disrepair. Doors didn't latch without a slam. Comforter had burn. One bed collapsed. Can easily go on. 1St night thought is was just maintenance, not chambermaids. Error!! Nobody showed up to do room maintenance. Have tried to make contact with manager for 3 days to no avail. Serious error on my part booking at this hotel.

The location was nice. Right on the beach.

This room was foul. There was a puddle of vomit (still wet) right inbetween the two beds. The "private balcony" was also graced with vomit. In removing the bed spread, we found old cheetos. To close the door to the bathroom, we had to lift it up and put it back on its hinges every time. What a waste of money.

Needs total upgrade remodel...refridgator didnt work the bathroom toilet tissue holder broken, room was not cleaned and no fresh towels and bed was not made.

Did not have our reservation even though we had a confirmation #. Moved us to different hotel after some time. Felt ripped off. Staff could have cared less.

Nothing special. For 200.00 per night, it was ridiculous. In all honesty, this room was not any better than a Days Inn and I have never, ever paid such a price. Bathtub needs to be replaced. It has been repaired in several places which made it look dirty. Coffee pot wasn't even emptied nor was the coffer cup replenished. Very disappointed. Will never book here again. Put this below.

It was on the ocean side of the busy Coastal Hwy so you didn't have to cross it but priced like many comparable hotels on the other side. It's not on the beach but only 300ft away and no traffic to awkwardly dodge getting there. The front desk staff were very nice. Free beach chairs were a big plus as well. It was across the street from a WaWa convenience store with hot and cold food items. Parking was free and seemed ample with about 1/3 of the spaces covered.

Our room was noisy from the traffic on the busy road that was only 20ft away. You had to ask the front desk to fill your cooler if you wanted ice. The pool was very small. It was too far away to walk to the boardwalk so you had to drive and pay for parking there.

close to the beach and view and quiet and very comfortable. we never even used our car the whole time we were there cause everything in walking distance. i think we have finally found our perfect place, as long as rates stay in our budget.

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. The staff were very nice and helpful. I was even impressed with the location. I chose this hotel solely by the online reviews. They were all great and I was not disappointed at all. I will definitely stay here again. -Krystal Edgemere, MD

It was such a great value! The room was quite spacious and it was really close to the beach.

Rooms were newly remodeled and very clean. Beds were very comfortable.

I was charged for an extra night and didn't know until I had already paid. I wasn't shown my balance before it was charged to my card. Needless to say I had to waiit until yesterday to see that credit to my card. Also the man working registration tried to charge me a cancellation fee when I told him about the mistake. Also parking spaces are very tight.

Information on resturant was misleading. Resturant was 2 blocks away.

The fist night that I stayed at coastal palms inn an suites, I discovered that both box springs in my room was broke and the bath tub stopper was broke. We had to sleep on two broken box springs to the next day and take a bath with a wash cloth ,stuffed in the drain. The last night we stayed their the cable went out for almost two hours. I went to talk to the manager an he told me the only thing he could do is replace the box springs the next day and let me stay their a couple of hours past check out time.

Also offers dog-friendly rooms. Staff was frienyl and accessible to address any issues after hours.
